IBT 2012
The following motions were acted upon at the 2012 Mid-Winter IBT held at Hattiesburg in January, 2012
Motion 1 for a new flag for the Land-O-Lakes Unit of Ohio passed.
Motion 2 for a new flag for the Alberta/Saskatchewan Unit passed.
Motion 3,.an amendment attempting to change the wording on an amendment on the motorhome issue was withdrawn. The previous amendment will be up for delegates vote at Sedalia.
Motion 4 for approval of a new Special Committee, the International Peace Garden Monument Committee to replace the original WBCCI/Brandon "Hands of Peace" sculpture was passed.
Motion 5 to amend wording in Bylaws concerning requirement for Units to resubmit copies of
Constitution & Bylaws every 5 years to IRS. Four paper copies or one electronic copy to HQ was passed.
Motion 6 to amend wording in Bylaws concerning IRS requirement, pretty much the same as Motion 5, just giving more reporting information to the Units, was.Passed.
Motion 7 to provide more funds for the Marketing Committee for advertising...$9500 to line item 640 of the budget was passed.
Motion 8 to grant authority for International 1st VP to sign a contract with the State of South Dakota for the 2013 WBCCI International Rally to be held in Huron, South Dakota was passed.
Motion 9 to grant authority for International 2nd VP to sign a contract with Cam-plex for the 2014 WBCCI International Rally to be held in Gillette, Wyoming was passed.
Motion 10 to approve funding for startup costs for proposals of the Electronic Communications Committee for the new WBCCI Website, data base software and licenses was passed.
Motion 11 to amend the 2011/2012 Budget by adding $1410..to line item 599 Depreciation Expense. This is the estimated depreciation expense for the items listed in Motion 10. Passed.
Motion 12 was a Board recommendation to the delegates concerning the motion coming before the
Delegates at Sedalia concerning motorhomes. The Board voted to withdraw the motion.
Joe Perryman has asked to be considered as a candidate for International 3rd Vice-President. Joe and Sandy's WBCCI number is #346....he is currently 1st VP of Region 10. Thank you, Joe & Sandy.
We were honored to receive the Region 9 Award of Excellence.....for President CC Gartman and First Lady Carla. Their motorhome malfunctioned and they were unable to be at IBT. They were missed by all.
Region 9 Units were well represented at IBT...with Region 9 having the most members attending. Good JOB!!
Good RALLY...... Raisin & I really enjoyed it...see you all at Mineola.
